EICR CERTIFICATES

Get Your Electrical Inspection Condition Report

PCC have been providing electrical testing and certification since 2007 and we are fully qualified to the latest City & Guilds and NICEIC standards.

As from the 1st of July 2020 it is a legal requirement for all property landlords to obtain an Electrical Safety Certificate for each property for all new tenancies in Scotland and All existing tenancies must comply by April 2021.

All landlords from the 1st of July 2020 will need to provide all new tenants of their properties with an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report).

To obtain an EICR a qualified and competent person must carry out a periodic inspection of the electrical installation within the property.  This procedure covers a range of checks, including:

  • Testing the entire installation from the consumer unit
  • Checking there are adequate earthing provisions
  • Ensure safety by automatic disconnection for each circuit
  • No defective or worn work
  • Adequate protection from electric shock

After checks are complete, we provide an EICR which demonstrates all test results performed on each circuit and a summary of the overall condition of the installation.  From April 2021 this document must be supplied to all tenancies including existing ones.  Find out more here, and get in touch to arrange your certificate today.
